My baby is a tween, I am officially sad :(

Standard

MacKensie is 9, excuse me 9 and a half, she always corrects me & one morning this week when we got moving at home here on the farm, she looked different… I think it’s my Momma’s fault because she noticed it on Monday and said boys were going to start becoming interested. Kens later informed that she’s not now nor not in the near future would she be interested in boys because and I quote her “they stink worse than when Mike comes home after working outside on the farm all day.” LOL

Anyways, she looks like a little teeny bopper… I look at my baby and think, where did my little baby go… 😦 anyways… we aren’t close to her 10th birthday yet so I’m not going to get all mushy gushy yet… my baby girl is a tween…

About Amber Day Hicks

I am a wife and momma, sweet tea drinking, southern woman. I am very opinionated and do speak my mind and sometimes I am wrong but don't tell the hubs, lol. I will always be Daddy's little girl even though he passed away at age 46 from melanoma stage 4 skin cancer. My momma is the strongest woman I know and she loves me no matter what. I am blessed to be surrounded by a great variety of people from different walks of my life but they are always there for me. My baby girl is just like me. Fireball in the making.... lol. Not all who wander are lost....

  1. Ah, beautiful! Does tween really start at nine? Oh, yikes. I thought it was eleven. Well I’m five years from it.

    • Well, I am thinking like 10-ish so I thought I had another few months but we woke up and bam she’s like a little lady now, yikes & gorgeous all at the same time… 🙂 you’ve got time though 🙂
